E-mail:

If you receive threatening e-mails, try to print them out as evidence of abuse.
Forms
If someone searches for 'domestic violence' on a search engine, your browser may store this if it has been set up to remember form entries. E.g. Next time somebody searches for a word beginning with the letter 'd' the word 'domestic violence' will pop up as a suggested entry.
-
If you use Internet Explorer:
- Click Tools and select Internet Options
- Click Content
- Select Auto Complete > Clear forms
Remember:
these steps may not completely cover your tracks. The safest search the Internet without someone finding out would be at a friend’s house, the library etc.
